The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is a partnership between the Government of

Canada and the 4 Atlantic provinces:

• New Brunswick 
• Newfoundland and Labrador
• Nova Scotia
• Prince Edward Island

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot lets Atlantic employers hire qualified candidates for jobs that they haven’t been able to fill locally.

Employers can hire candidates through one of three programs in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot:

• Atlantic High-skilled Program
• Atlantic International Graduate Program
• Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program

Each program has its own requirements. These requirements cover:

• The job that candidate will have in the Atlantic province.
• Candidate’s skills, experience and education.
• Candidate’s ability to communicate in English or French.
• Candidate’s ability to support yourself and your family in Canada.
• Candidate’s intent to reside in the Atlantic province.
